The Cardinals make their second appearance of the season Friday on Apple TV+鈥檚 package of exclusively streamed MLB games when they entertain the Arizona Diamondbacks at 7:15 p.m.
Apple shows doubleheaders on Fridays throughout the season, and its deal with MLB prohibits local telecasts of those contests. Thus there will be no coverage on regular Cardinals TV outlets FanDuel Sports Network, KMOV (Channel 4) or Matrix Midwest (Channel 32). FanDuel also will not stream the game.
The contest is set to be called by Rich Waltz, with former Rockies outfielder Ryan Spilborghs providing analysis and Tricia Whitaker reporting from the field. That is the same group who worked Apple鈥檚 previous Cards telecast this season, on May 9 when they were in Washington.
Apple鈥檚 other contest Friday is the Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets, at 6:10 p.m.
