As sparks and burning debris rain down around him, a ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ firefighter climbs a ladder to direct water into a raging five-alarm fire in a five-story warehouse at North First and O'Fallon streets in ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022. Eighth anniversary of Michael Brown shooting

The spot on Canfield Drive is where Michael Brown lay four and half hours after he was shot and killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9, 2014. Family, friends, local activists and community members gather at the spot every year before a ceremony on Aug. 9th to mark the shooting. Brown's death ignited a new era of social activism and civil rights protests in the United States. Johnson was with Michael Brown when the shooting happened and the only known witness to the entire event spoke to the crowd at the memorial. "I feel the pain of the family. Roll over accident at Lafayette exit off of Interstate 44 East

The driver sustained only minor injuries and was released at the scene after being assessed by medics.
