The Savannah Bananas will not be taking over Busch Stadium this weekend.
The team  to announce that the games, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, will be rescheduled because of pending severe weather and "heavy rains." The games have been rescheduled for July 18 and July 19.
Ticketholders for the Friday game will use their tickets for the July 18 game, and Saturday ticketholders will attend the July 19 game. Attendees will receive more information via email from either the Cardinals or the Savannah Bananas.
Tickets to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ game sold out quickly, and the Cardinals are in talks to bring the Bananas back to Busch Stadium in 2026.
The Bananas are known for their "zany" brand of baseball, where they dance on field, step up to bat on stilts, can steal first and play by other odd rules. The team is popular on TikTok, where they have nearly 10 million followers. They first brought Banana Ball on the road in 2021 and have sold out every game.Â
